The SERMAC series BS placing boom is equipped with folding options "R" or "Z" and consists of 4 sections. To facilitate quick assembly on the job site, the equipment features a separate 1st section boom and rapid connections for hydraulic flexible hoses.

The BS placing booms are available with or without counterbalance, depending on the specific requirements of the job site. They are supplied with the following components:

• Joint for continuous turret rotation
• Speed joint connecting the under turret group to the bearing structure (turret or framework column), featuring four detachable fixing pivots and two fixed centering pivots
• Concrete pipeline with a diameter of 125 mm (5 inches)
• Standard-length rubber end hose
• Proportional radio remote control for boom activation, along with a proportional emergency radio remote control with a maximum branching cable length of 30 meters
• Climbing tower electro-hydraulic gear case, equipped with a three-phase electric motor (15 kW) suitable for power inputs of 380V, 415V, or 440V
• Automatic anchoring system (mechanical) for the 2nd section on the 1st section
• Working platform located on the 1st section for assembly and maintenance purposes
